PayPal is one of the well known payment providers. Especially if you want to order from a retailer abroad, PayPal may be the only option for you. PayPal is also used for convenience. In this article you will learn how to top up your PayPal balance.
Top Up Paypal Balance – Requirements
Although it is possible to receive money from other PayPal users without being linked to an account, if you want to deposit money into your PayPal account yourself, you usually have to link it to a bank or card beforehand. If you want to use PayPal without an account, you have two options, which, however, come with some restrictions.
Link Bank Account
To link your account to PayPal, do the following:
First log in to PayPal with your access data. Select the Add bank option under the E-Exchange tab. Now you have to enter your IBAN and your date of birth. PayPal will transfer a cent amount to you in the next 2 to 3 working days, with a code in the intended use, to your account. You then have to enter the code on the PayPal to verify your account as a payment source.
Deposit Money – This Is How It Works
If your PayPal account has been verified and is available without restrictions, you can top up PayPal balance. Proceed as follows:
Log into your PayPal account. Click on the link to deposit or withdraw money on the overview page. Under Pay in money, select the named Pay in money. On the next page you will find the required PayPal account data. The IBAN and the intended use are assigned individually for each PayPal user. Now use the banking application or the portal of the account linked to PayPal to deposit your desired amount into your account. Simply fill out a transfer and enter the account information from step as the payee. The amount will be credited to your PayPal after one to two days.
If you don’t want to link your account to your PayPal account, you can also use giropay. However, there are some restrictions to be observed. For example, topping up the balance with giropay is also free of charge, but you have to top up at least an amount of 50 dollars.
